2017年，51岁的王柳云只身前往位于福建省屏南县双溪古镇的免费画楼学习油画。之后的几年，她辗转于地处浙江省沿海的家、深圳市大芬油画村、河南省柘城县的官庄村等地，学画、打工、游历，还曾在乡村学校当美术老师。2020年，王柳云开始“北漂”，白天在写字楼里做保洁员，夜里在自己的一方天地里画画、写作。许多媒体都曾对她的故事进行叙述和阐释。本书是王柳云的自传作品，她走出媒体的叙事，以亲历者的视角讲述自己从51岁开始的新生活，既有在山水间的诗意漫游，也有对底层女性群像的真实刻画。此外，本书还收录了王柳云的41幅油画作品。

In 2017, 51-year-old Wang Liuyun went alone to learn oil painting at a free painting building in Shuangxi Ancient Town, Pingnan County, Fujian Province. In the following years, she moved between her home in coastal Zhejiang Province, Dafen Oil painting Village in Shenzhen City, and Guanzhuang Village in Zecheng County in Henan Province, learning painting, working and traveling, and once worked as an art teacher in a rural school. In 2020, Wang Liuyun began to "north drift", working as a cleaner in the office during the day, and painting and writing in his own world at night. Her story has been recounted and interpreted by many media outlets. This book is an autobiographical work of Wang Liuyun, who walks out of the narrative of the media and tells her new life from the age of 51 from the perspective of an eyewitness, both poetic wandering in the landscape and the true depiction of the group of women at the bottom. In addition, the book also contains 41 oil paintings by Wang Liuyun.
