《国语》是一部按国别记载西周春秋王侯卿士大夫治国言论的原始史料汇编，上起周穆王十二年西征犬戎（约前947年），下至智伯被灭（前453年），涉及周、鲁、齐、晋、郑、楚、吴、越等国。《国语》内容广泛，选编宗旨是为王侯卿士大夫治国保家“道训典，献善败”。《国语》是真正能够代表西周春秋散文成就的唯一典籍，代表了《尚书》之后《左传》之前西周春秋历史散文的真实发展水平，堪称是研究西周春秋历史散文的活标本。
作者简介
陈桐生，中国古代文学博士，广东外语外贸大学中国语言文化学院教授，博士生导师。主要著作有《中国史官文化与史记》、《史记与今古文经学》、《史记与诗经》、《儒家经传文化与史记》、《孔子诗论研究》、《七十子后学散文研究》等。
Content introduction
Guoyu is a compilation of the original historical materials that record the opinions of the princes and officials of the Spring and Autumn Dynasties of the Western Zhou Dynasty by country. It covers the states of Zhou, Lu, Qi, Jin, Zheng, Chu, Wu, Yue and so on from the conquest of Quanrong in the twelfth year of King Mu of Zhou (about 947 BC) to the destruction of Zhibo (453 BC). "Guoyu" has a wide range of content, and the purpose of selecting and compiling is to protect the country and the family for the princes and officials. Guoyu is the only book that can truly represent the achievement of the Western Zhou Dynasty Spring and Autumn prose, representing the real development level of the Western Zhou Dynasty Spring and Autumn historical prose after Shangshu and before Zuo Zhuan, and can be called a living specimen of the study of the Western Zhou Dynasty Spring and Autumn historical prose.

Chen Tongsheng, Ph.D., Ancient Chinese Literature, professor, School of Chinese Language and Culture, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies.
