托马斯·W.汉肖（Thomas W.Hanshew，1857―1914），美国作家和演员，出生于纽约的布鲁克林。他十六岁时就登台演出，演艺生涯持续了一段时间后，他在伦敦与出版机构合作，开始了文学创作。其中，部分小说是他与妻子玛丽·E.汉肖共同完成的。他笔下著名的人物是汉密尔顿·克里克侦探，这位侦探因为善于伪装而被称为“千面人”。

Thomas W. Henshaw (1857-1914) was an American writer and actor, born in Brooklyn, New York. He appeared on stage at the age of sixteen, and after an acting career that lasted for some time, he began to write literature in London, working with publishing agencies. He wrote some of the novels with his wife, Mary E. Henshaw. His most famous character was Detective Hamilton Creek, who was known as "the Man of a thousand faces" because he was good at disguising himself.
