田彤,男,1966年4月出生,籍隶辽宁营口。华中师范大学历史学博士、中国社会科学院近代史研究所博士后,现任华中师范大学教育部人文社会科学重点研究基地中国近代史研究所教授。研究方向为中国近现代思想文化史、社会史、政治史。

This book is a social history research work that fully demonstrates labor-capital relations during the Republic of China. Using a large number of first-hand historical materials, such as Shen Bao, Ta Kung Pao, Diary of Female Workers, etc., the author deeply analyzes the labor-capital relations of different types of enterprises, different regions, different owners, and different industries, and discusses the issues of enterprise ecology, administrative management, welfare security, and labor union groups, presenting the complicated state of labor-capital relations in the Republic of China. About the author
Tian Tong, male, was born in April 1966 in Yingkou, Liaoning Province. Doctor of History, Central China Normal University, Postdoctoral fellow, Institute of Modern History, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, currently Professor, Institute of Modern Chinese History, Key Research Base of Humanities and Social Sciences, Central China Normal University. His research interests are Chinese modern ideological and cultural history, social history and political history.
