Born in 1931 in Ontario, Canada, in 1968, "Dance of Happy Shadows" first debut, has published more than ten collections of short stories, the Canadian Governor General's Literary Award, the Giller Literary Award, the Commonwealth Writers Award, the National Association of Book Reviewers Award and so on. He won the 3rd Man Booker International Prize in 2009. He won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 2013. Masterpieces include "Escape" and "Dear Life".
