日本小说家、歌人。
1955年，生于冈山，毕业于同志社大学文学部，专业在“谷崎润一郎”和“泉镜花”间转铅笔选中了后者。
1975年，在著名科幻杂志《SF Magazine》发表小说《假面舞会》崭露头角，并陆续创作了《梦栖息的街》《月龄》《蝉丸》奠定文名。经由涩泽龙彦受到超现实主义的强烈影响，她的作品擅用冷峻的诗性文字描述缭乱幻想和世界必朽的虚无宿命。
1985年，戛然绝笔，被文学界视为“传说中的作家”。
2018年，长年沉寂后发表《飞孔雀》，一举斩获第69届艺术选奖文部科学大臣赏、第39届日本SF大赏、第46届泉镜花文学赏。
2021年，发表新作《山人鱼与乌有王》，时年66岁。

Japanese novelist and singer.
Born in Okayama in 1955, he graduated from Doshisha University's Department of Literature, majoring in "Tanizaki Junichiro" and "Izumi Shizuhana" between the latter.
In 1975, he appeared in the famous science fiction Magazine "SF Magazine" published the novel "Masquerade", and successively created "Dream dwelling street", "Month" and "Cicada Maru" to lay the title. Under the strong influence of surrealism, Ryuhiko Shibusawa's works are good at describing the dazzle of fantasy and the nihilistic fate that the world is doomed to decay with cold poetic words.
In 1985, he abruptly stopped writing and was regarded as a "legendary writer" by the literary community.
In 2018, "Flying Peacock" was published after a long silence, and won the 69th Art Selection Award by the Minister of Education, Sports, Science and Technology, the 39th Japan SF Grand Award, and the 46th Izumi Jinghua Literature Award.
In 2021, he published his new work "Mountain Mermaid and the King of Nothing" at the age of 66.
