达契娅·玛拉依妮（1936——）当今意大利最负盛名的女作家之一。她的小说屡获意大利和国际文学奖项。其中，《惶惑的年代》（1963）获福门托国际文学奖；《玛丽安娜·乌克里娅的漫漫人生》（1990）获坎皮耶罗文学奖及意大利年度图书，再版十九次，被译成十七种语言；《声音》（1994）获那不勒斯文学奖和西比拉·阿莱拉莫文学奖，《黑暗》（1999）获得有意大利布克奖之称的斯特雷加文学奖。2011年，提名布克国际奖，2012年后，玛拉依妮多次获得诺贝尔奖提名。
An open door, a pair of blue tennis shoes, the pungent smell of disinfectant - the room where a girl named Angela had been stabbed 20 times to death.
Michaela works as a journalist for a private radio station and is producing an investigative program on violence against women. When she discovers that the victim lives in the same building as her, she begins a private, personal investigation into the murder.
As the investigation progressed, people familiar with the victim gave their version of Angela, but each voice was different and confusing. More worryingly, why are so many women raped and killed? Why do they always volunteer to open the door for their attackers? Why are they afraid to name their abusers? Only in the end will these questions be answered...
About the author
Dacia Maraini (1936 -) is one of the most famous Italian women writers today. Her novels have won numerous Italian and international literary awards. Among them, The Age of Confusion (1963) won the Formento International Literature Prize; The Long Life of Mariana Ukria (1990) won the Campiero Prize for Literature and the Italian Book of the Year, reprinted 19 times and translated into 17 languages; "The Voice" (1994) won the Naples Literature Prize and the Sibylla Aleramo Literature Prize, and "Darkness" (1999) won the Strega Literature Prize, Italy's Booker Prize. In 2011, she was nominated for the Man Booker International Prize, and since 2012, Malayni has been nominated for the Nobel Prize several times.
