林毅夫，北京大学新结构经济学研究院教授、院长，北京大学南南合作与发展学院院长，国家发展研究院名誉院长。膺选为世界科学院（原第三世界科学院）外籍院士、英国科学院外籍院士。1994年创立北京大学中国经济研究中心（现北京大学国家发展研究院），并担任主任一职。2008年被任命为世界银行高级副行长兼首席经济学家，成为担此要职的发展中国家第一人。现任全国政协常委、经济委员会副主任、国务院参事，国家“十三五”“十四五”规划专家委员会副主席。作为“经济体制改革理论的探索者”，获“改革先锋”称号。

Lin Yifu is Professor and dean of the Institute of New Structural Economics, Peking University, Dean of the School of South-South Cooperation and Development, Peking University, and honorary president of the National Institute of Development. Elected as a Foreign Fellow of the World Academy of Sciences (formerly the Third World Academy of Sciences) and a Foreign Fellow of the British Academy. In 1994, he founded the China Center for Economic Research at Peking University (now the National School of Development at Peking University) and served as the director. In 2008, he was appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Economist of the World Bank, becoming the first developing country to hold such a position. He is currently a member of the Standing Committee of the CPPCC National Committee, deputy director of the Economic Committee, counselor of The State Council, and vice chairman of the national "13th Five-Year Plan" and "14th Five-Year Plan" planning Expert Committee. As "the explorer of economic system reform theory", he won the title of "reform pioneer".
