《韩家往事》记述了天津“八大家”之首的“天成号”韩家所经历的百年风云。韩家姐妹是20世纪中国女性中最早接受现代教育的一代先驱,她们的际遇与选择让我们得以窥见传统家族在这一变局中的沉浮与命运。本书以韩氏家族为中心,旁及李连普、梅贻琦、傅铜、邝寿堃、卫立煌家族,以此吸纳更厚重的历史容量,也折射更丰富的时代底色。
借由信件、日记、老照片和访谈,作者用先辈悲欣交集的人生经历与彷徨求索的精神世界来对接大历史叙述,力图以个体来展现时代的宏阔与复杂,为每一个生命寻找其独特的存在价值,从而勾画出多层次、立体的历史图景。
作者简介
徐泓:北京大学新闻与传播学院教授,曾任中国新闻社新闻部副主任、北京分社社长,获得过全国性新闻奖。1998年以后,先后任教于中国人民大学新闻学院和北京大学新闻与传播学院,已出版《大人物小人物》《我所珍惜的:30位北大传媒人访谈录》《不要因为走得太远而忘记为什么出发》等。

"Han Family Past Events" describes Tianjin "eight people" first "Tiancheng" Han family experienced a hundred years of change. The Han sisters are the first generation of Chinese women to receive modern education in the 20th century. Their experiences and choices allow us to glimpse the ups and downs and fate of traditional families in this changing situation. This book focuses on the Han family and includes the Li Lianpu, Mei Yiqi, Fu Tong, Kuang Shoukun and Wei Lihuang families in order to absorb a heavier historical capacity and reflect a richer background of The Times.
Through letters, diaries, old photos and interviews, the author uses the sorrowful life experience of the ancestors and the spiritual world of wandering to connect the grand historical narrative, trying to show the grandeur and complexity of The Times with an individual, and find its unique existence value for each life, so as to sketch a multi-level and three-dimensional historical picture.
About the author
Xu Hong: Professor at the School of Journalism and Communication of Peking University, former deputy director of the News Department and Beijing Bureau chief of China News Service, and winner of national journalism awards. Since 1998, he has taught in the School of Journalism of Renmin University of China and the School of Journalism and Communication of Peking University, and has published "Big and Little People", "What I Cherish: Interviews with 30 Peking University media People", "Don't forget why you set out because you have gone too far" and so on.
