Robin Cohen is Emeritus Professor of Social Development Studies at the University of Oxford and former director of the International Migration Institute at Oxford University. A leading British scholar of international migration culture and its social impact, with academic positions and research projects in several countries. He is the author of the Borders of Identity: Britain and Beyond, The Global Diaspora, and Immigrants and Their Enemies.
