About the author
Ed Catme, co-founder of Pixar Animation Studios and president of Pixar Animation. After joining Disney in 2006, Pixar served as president of both Pixar Animation and Disney Animation. He has won five Academy Awards, including the Gordon Sawyer Award for Lifetime Achievement in Science and Technology. He earned a doctorate in computer science from the University of Utah and lives in San Francisco with his wife and children.
Amy Wallace is a journalist and columnist for the weekend business section of the New York Times, and has written for The New Yorker, Wired, and the Los Angeles Times. He is the state editor of the Los Angeles Times Magazine.
