Content introduction
"Where does human politics come from?"
"Where is human politics?"
"Where is human politics headed?"
The book responds to three key questions in politics from an evolutionary perspective. Focusing on the basic context of human political evolution, this book regards different political regimes and political models as a "political species", analyzes the social conditions for the birth of early states, and expounds the rise and fall of city-states, general states, and empires from the dimensions of state differentiation and evolution. From the dimension of polity differentiation and evolution, this paper discusses the differences and transformations of monarchies, feudals, constitutionals and democracies, as well as how a series of differences between different groups of human beings in shaping effective states and effectively constraining states have shaped political models of different time and space.
If human political evolution is likened to a great river, then understanding the basic course of that river in the past may shed more light on where we are today and where we want to go in the future.
