里特尔、格林德尔、加布里尔等著名哲学家主编的十三卷本《哲学史辞典》（Historisches Wörterbuch der Philosophie），从1971年出版第一卷，至2007年出版最后一卷，耗时36年。有一批造诣精深的哲学家——如伽达默尔等人——参与撰写辞条的辞典，其权威性自然毋庸置疑。这部辞典与其他诸如哲学类的概念、术语、观念等专门辞典不同，它不仅是对概念的定义、描述或分析，而且从批判的、历史的视角提供了全景式的论述，详尽地列出了概念的源流演变和文献出处。
本书是《哲学史辞典》中有关“诠释学”的核心辞条选编汉译本，亦系华东师范大学哲学系潘德荣教授主编的“诠释学与诠释之学研究系列丛书”之一种。

Content introduction
The 13-volume Historisches Worterbuch der Philosophie, edited by famous philosophers such as Ritter, Grindel and Gabriel, took 36 years from the publication of the first volume in 1971 to the publication of the last volume in 2007. A group of accomplished philosophers, such as Gadamer and others, participated in the compilation of the dictionary of words, and its authority is not in doubt. Unlike other specialized dictionaries of concepts, terms, and concepts such as philosophy, this dictionary is not only a definition, description, or analysis of concepts, but also provides a panoramic discussion from a critical and historical perspective, listing in detail the origin and evolution of concepts and their sources.
This book is a selected Chinese translation of the core words on "Hermeneutics" in the Dictionary of the History of Philosophy, and is also one of the "Hermeneutics and Interpretative Studies Series" edited by Professor Pan Derong of the Department of Philosophy of East China Normal University.
About the author
The editors are Ritter (the founder of the "Ritter School", the three major schools of contemporary German philosophy), Grindel (the famous contemporary German historical philosopher, the editor of large anthologies such as the "Dilthey Anthologies" and "Solum Anthologies"), and Gabriel (the German language philosopher and esthetist).
