Content introduction
In modern politics, theory determines policy, and the relationship is close. Hundred Days' Reform is one of the turning events in modern history. Do Kang Youwei and Liang Qichao, its main promoters, have any core thoughts and systematic theories? Where do they get their intellectual resources from? How does it relate to the direction of reform? For more than 20 years, Professor MAO Haijian has been immersed in the Hundred Days' Reform, starting from the little bit of archival evidence, completed a number of tasks to clarify important historical events, annotate the core historical materials, investigate the largest reformist group outside Kang Liang - Zhangzhidong Chen Baozhen Group, and entered the "deep water zone" of the Hundred Days' Reform - Kang Liang's thought research, through the mutual verification of texts and historical events, "by Liang Kang" and other ways. It confirmed the connotation of "Datong III theory" formed before the reform, Kang Youwei's political change, Kang Youwei's basic strategy of combining the upper line with the lower line, and Kang Liang's reform thought resembled Western learning while the main body was still the nature of middle school, which added a solid foundation for the history of Wuxu's Reform.
