作者简介

For almost a year, the writer Fredrik-Yves Genay irregularly posed questions to Anne Elnor. In these responses, the author tries to provide an account of her writing practice, which began thirty years ago, describing her way of working and explaining the "purpose" of her texts. The book is well worth reading, and moving because it rejects fiction and does rigorous, progressive work on lived experience. This book is useful for the general reader to understand Elno's own experience and writing characteristics, and is an important reference for literary researchers.
About the author
Anne Herno, a famous French contemporary female writer, was born in the seaside town of Ivoto, Normandy, France, in 1940. She came from a poor French background, and her parents ran a small grocery store. Each of her works is about her experiences and memories, which are true stories or things that she has heard and seen. She won the French Prize for Literature in Renaudot in 1984 for her novel "A Man's Place" and the French Prize for Literature in Duras in 2008 for her novel "Long Days". So far, more than 20 works have been published and translated into more than 20 languages. He won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 2022.
