凯文·凯利（Kevin Kelly），出生于1952年。他是著名杂志《连线》（Wired）的创始主编，也常被看作是“网络文化（Cyberculture）”的发言人和观察者。他犹如硅谷当中的一位“游侠”，当媒体聚焦于某种具体应用、聚焦于路演和IPO、聚焦于科技公司市值的时候，他却一如既往地将目光投向了广袤的未来－－这位睿智的未来学家早在上世纪90年代初的时候就预见了Web2.0时代的到来，预见了去中心化的互联网发展趋势。

"technium" is a term coined by Kevin Kelly. "The technological element includes not only the physical technologies (such as cars, radar and computers), but also culture, law, social institutions and all intelligent creations." In short, the technical element is everything that comes out of a person's consciousness. KK sees the extension of this technology as a self-motivated whole.
This book inherits the thinking system of "Out of Control" and "New Rules for the New Economy", and touches on hot topics such as the evolution of civilization, digital publishing, free economy, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, and digital life. At a deeper level, KK wants to discuss: what is the nature of technical elements? Should humans embrace it or reject it? How sure is humanity of its own future development? About the author
Kevin Kelly was born in 1952. He was the founding editor of Wired magazine and is often seen as a spokesman and observer of "Cyberculture." He is like a "ranger" in Silicon Valley, when the media focuses on a specific application, focuses on roadshows and ipos, focuses on the market value of technology companies, he has always looked at the vast future - this wise futurist foresaw the arrival of the Web2.0 era as early as the early 1990s. Foresaw the development trend of decentralized Internet.
