About the author
Richard Dawkins is a professor at the University of Oxford, a member of the Royal Academy of Sciences and an evolutionary biologist. In 2005, he was named one of the world's 100 most influential living public intellectuals by Prospect and Foreign Policy magazine. He is the author of the classic popular science bestseller The Selfish Gene.
