《自然的童话》内容简介

　　本书为家喻户晓的比得兔（PeterRabbit）创作者毕翠克丝·波特（BeatrixPotter）的艺术创作画册，收录了142幅波特小姐的画作及手稿。比得兔是家喻户晓、老少皆知的儿童文学形象，调皮可爱，画风充满自然的纯朴质感和田园趣味。

　　本书基于2022年秋英国V&A博物馆举办的同主题展览，由V&A博物馆策展团队编撰出版，全面探索了波特作为一名自然学家、艺术家、儿童作家和农场者的成就，并介绍了她在保护湖区方面留下的遗产。作为一名富有创造力的先驱和坚定的企业家，她将科学观察与富有想象力的叙事相结合，创作出了世界上最受欢迎的儿童书籍。书中收录了很多主角人物画像，以及精美的动植物画、给朋友的幽默图片信件、湖区水彩画和罕见的家庭照片。读者将跟随她的旅程，从中产阶级的伦敦游荡到广阔的湖区山区，重新认识这位因比得兔广为人知的女性。

　　毕翠克丝·波特BeatrixPotter（1866—1943）

　　英国著名儿童作家、画家、真菌学家和环保主义者，比得兔形象创作者。她出生于英国伦敦的富有家庭，在三十多岁时出版儿童故事绘本《比得兔的故事》，风靡全球。她从小热爱动物和大自然，曾努力成为一名女科学家。在生命末年，她隐居湖区，并用版税收入买下大片湖区土地并予以保护。

　　英国维多利亚与艾尔伯特博物馆（VictoriaandAlbertMuseum，简称英国V&A博物馆），位于英国伦敦，是全球最大的艺术与设计博物馆，创立于1852年，为纪念英国女王维多利亚及其丈夫艾尔伯特亲王而得此名。经过多年的努力和经营，英国V&A博物馆成为装饰艺术的权威，对19世纪末—20世纪初在欧美陆续成立的博物馆具有深远的影响和启发。

A brief introduction to Nature's Fairy Tales

This book is the well-known PeterRabbit creator BeatrixPotter (BeatrixPotter) art creation album, contains 142 Miss Potter's paintings and manuscripts. Peter Rabbit is a well-known and well-known children's literature image, naughty and lovely, the painting style is full of natural simplicity and pastoral taste.

Based on an exhibition on the same theme at the V&A in Autumn 2022, this book, compiled and published by the V&A curatorial team, comprehensively explores Potter's achievements as a naturalist, artist, children's author and farmer, as well as her legacy in conserving the Lake District. Readers will follow her journey as she wanders from middle-class London to the vast Lake District mountains, reacquainting herself with the woman best known as the rabbit.

About the author

BeatrixPotter (1866-1943)

The famous British children's author, painter, mycologist and environmentalist, the creator of the image of Peter rabbit. Born into a wealthy family in London, she became a global hit when she published the Story of Peter Rabbit in her 30s. She grew up loving animals and nature, and tried to become a female scientist. At the end of her life, she retired to the Lake District and used her royalties to buy and protect large tracts of land in the lake District.

VictoriaandAlbertMuseum (VictoriaandAlbertMuseum, referred to as the British V&A Museum), located in London, England, is the world's largest art and design museum, founded in 1852, in memory of Queen Victoriaand her husband Prince Albert and got this name. After years of efforts and management, the British V&A Museum has become the authority of decorative arts, which has a profound influence and inspiration on the museums established in Europe and the United States in the late 19th century and the early 20th century.

Zhao Jing has a master's degree in Art history from the University of Washington. She is the author of the Fedun Classic Library of Color Art series Monet, Degas, Klimt and Cambridge Illustrated History of China. He has worked in auction companies and museums, engaged in contemporary art auction and museum exhibition research, planning and publicity work, and now works at the Capital Museum.

Shiling Zhao has a master's degree in history from Beijing Normal University and a Doctor's degree in history from Queen's University in Canada. She now lives in Canada and teaches Chinese history, Asian history, world history, Chinese culture/Chinese language. He has translated Chinese Geography from the Perspective of History (Peking University Press, 2019).
