A brief introduction to the Biography of Hayek
Hayek is one of the greatest liberal thinkers of the 20th century. He published 130 articles and 25 books in the fields of economics, politics, philosophy, anthropology, law, psychology, epistemology, and ethics, and made a significant impact in each of them. Hayek won the Nobel Prize in economics in 1974, but his academic contributions went far beyond economics.

BruceCaldwell is a professor at Duke University, president of the American Society for the History of Economic Thought, and the third editor-in-chief of the Complete Works of Hayek.
