人生的事儿谁能预料呢？我一个老农民，嫁到吴屯镇五十年，活到七十岁，本该按部就班走向棺材，却被逼着开启了一段离家出走。从郑州到新疆哈密，到长沙，又到台北，最后去锦州，我寻访着同样离家出走过的小儿子艾尔克的足迹，一方面有意无意思考余下人生的活法，另一方面小心探究艾尔克死守的秘密。在这趟旅程中，我，欧阳凤，回顾了婆家朱家、娘家欧阳家以及婆婆娘家杨家几个家庭的风云过往，蹚过一些人的生命之河，品出自己的人生滋味。一切从七十岁这一年，重新开始。

Who can predict things in life?
