《海上钢琴师》内容简介

　　《海上钢琴师》，朱塞佩·托纳多雷执导的同名电影原作，讲述了海上钢琴师“一九〇〇”从未走上陆地的传奇的一生。一九〇〇年，“弗吉尼亚号”豪华邮轮上，一个孤儿被遗弃在头等舱，被船上的水手看见，抚养长大，取名一九〇〇。随着一九〇〇慢慢长大，显示出无师自通的钢琴天赋，在船上的乐队中演奏人们从来没听过的音乐，听过他演奏的人，都被深深打动。

　　《丝绸》讲述了19世纪中期，一场天灾几乎毁了法国的丝绸工业，受法国丝绸商人巴尔达比乌所托，退役军人埃尔韦·荣古尔离开爱妻，赴日本购买蚕种。巴里科将这一段旅程中微妙的情欲讲述得节制而充满迷思，优雅、动人。

　　“我出生在这艘船上，世界从这里经过，但每次就来两千人。这里也有欲望，但也只是从船头到船尾所容纳的欲望。你弹奏你的音符，在有限的键盘上。”

　　作者简介

　　亚历山德罗·巴里科（AlessandroBaricco），意大利作家。1958年生于都灵。曾获意大利坎皮耶罗奖、法国美第奇外国作品奖、维亚雷焦文学奖和博斯克城堡文学奖。巴里科的作品有着浓烈的艺术与童话气质，富有实验性与音乐感，浓缩了人类美好而温暖的情感，既古老又新鲜，既传统又现代。

Introduction to the Piano Player at Sea

"The Pianist at Sea", the original film of the same name directed by Giuseppe Tornatore, tells the story of the legendary life of the pianist "1900" who never set foot on land. In 1900, on the "Virginia" luxury cruise ship, an orphan was abandoned in the first class, and was seen by the sailors on the ship, raised and named 1900. As 1900 grew up, showing an untaught talent for the piano, he played music no one had ever heard before in the ship's band, and those who heard him play were deeply moved.

"Silk" tells the story of the mid-19th century, a natural disaster almost destroyed the French silk industry, by the French silk merchant Bardabieu, retired military Herve Jungur left his wife, went to Japan to buy silkworm eggs. Barico narrates the subtle eroticism of this journey in a restrained, mystifying, elegant and moving way.

"I was born on this ship, and the world passes through here, but two thousand people come at a time. There are desires here, too, but only those contained from bow to stern. You play your notes, on a limited keyboard."

The book is a complete collection of the original film The Pianist at Sea, as well as Silk, which was praised by The Times as a "literary gem". New translation by the famous translator Chen Ying.

About the author

AlessandroBaricco is an Italian writer. Born in Turin in 1958. He has won the Campiero Prize in Italy, the Medici Prize for Foreign Works in France, the Viareggio Prize for Literature and the Castel del Bosque Prize for Literature. Barico's works have a strong artistic and fairy tale temperament, full of experimental and musical sense, concentrated human beautiful and warm emotions, both old and fresh, both traditional and modern.

Chen Ying, Ph.D. in Linguistics from the University of Macerata, Italy, is now a professor at Sichuan International Studies University. His translations include Margulies' Miniature World, Ferrante's Neapolitan Tetralia, Starnone's Shoelaces, Barico's A Man Disappears into the World, The Pianist at Sea, and Grossi's Fist. In 2020, he was awarded the "One Direction Street Translator of the Year", and in 2021, he was awarded the Knight Order of the "Star of Italy" by the President of the Italian Republic and the Italian Translation Award for Diplomacy and International Cooperation.
