作者简介
多梅尼科·斯塔尔诺内，意大利著名作家、编剧和记者。1943年生于那不勒斯，目前住在罗马。斯塔尔诺内在为多家意大利报纸工作前做过高中教师。目前除了写小说和剧本，他仍是多家意大利报刊的专栏作家。
2001年，他以小说《杰米托路》获得意大利文学最高奖斯特雷加奖。斯塔尔诺内已出版二十多部作品，有多部小说被改编成电影。继国际畅销书《鞋带》和入围美国国家图书奖的《玩笑》之后，《坦白》成为“家庭三部曲”的终章。
A brief introduction to Confession

Pietro and Teresa's love life is full of swords and arrows. After another argument, she had an idea: Tell me your darkest secret, and I'll do the same. And then we'll be together forever. Of course, they broke up soon after.

About the author
Domenico Starnone is an Italian writer, screenwriter and journalist. Born in Naples in 1943, he currently lives in Rome. Starnone worked as a high school teacher before working for several Italian newspapers. In addition to writing novels and plays, he is currently a columnist for several Italian newspapers.
In 2001, he won the Strega Prize, the highest prize in Italian literature, for his novel "Jaime Toro". Starnone has published more than twenty works, and several of his novels have been adapted into films. Following the international bestseller Shoelaces and the National Book Award finalist Jest, Confession is the final chapter in the Family Trilogy.
