Fanny Flagg was born in 1944 in Alabama, USA. In his early years, he participated in stage plays and American dramas, and tried to write by chance and began to write.
In 1987, she wrote Fried Green Tomatoes, her highest-grossing novel to date, which stayed on the New York Times bestseller list for 36 weeks and was rated 4.28 out of 5 by 290,000 readers on Goodreads.
In 1991, the movie of the same name adapted from "Fried Green Tomatoes" was released, among the four leading actresses, two Oscar winners, a Golden Globe Award winner, strong cast, Douban score 8.6. Fanny worked on the film adaptation and was nominated for an Academy Award for Best screenplay.
