萨提斯·库马尔（Satish Kumar）

Satish Kumar
Famous philosopher, educator, ecological civilization expert and pioneer of environmental protection movement. Born in India in 1936, he moved to the UK in 1973 and for decades was the editor of Britain's leading ecology magazine, Resurgence, which has been hailed as "the artistic and spiritual voice of the green movement". He founded the famous Schumacher Institute, which has a wide influence on natural education, organic agriculture, mental health and other issues, and has been selected as one of the "World's 100 spiritual figures" by Watkins-Books, a century-old London bookstore.
Satis was deeply influenced by the great pioneers of Eastern thought, and he humblingly learned from them and inherited their ideas and wills, while the desire for unknown truths gave Satis the courage to take action for the natural environment, for personal well-being, and for human values. In the end, his inner thinking and outer experience were also tempered into the proverbs of this era - Satis's famous "3S" theory, which guided people to embrace the miracle of life.
