Content introduction
What comes to mind when you think of fungi? Moldy bread, an outbreak of plague? Or the red umbrella and white pole that emerged from the fallen leaves overnight? In fact, fungi are with us all the time, and we, and every living thing on this planet, depend on them. As the disintegrators of the Earth, they even hold the key to the survival of other organisms.
With fascinating writing and stunning graphics, this book takes us inside the hidden fungal family, perceiving the interconnectedness of life on Earth, and seeing them from a completely different perspective - related to corruption, but also to rebirth.
