大卫·米切尔（1976—）

英国著名作家，欧美文学界公认的新一代小说大师，5度入围布克奖。

1969年生于英格兰，在肯特大学主修英美文学、比较文学。曾在日本广岛担任工程系学生的英文教师8年。

博采村上春树、奥斯特、卡尔维诺、博尔赫斯诸大师作品所长，自成一派，其作波诡云谲，灵气无穷。作品原创性十足，为21世纪英语小说开启了全新的模式与风貌。

David Mitchell (1976 -)

Famous British writer, European and American literary circles recognized as the new generation of novel masters, five times shortlisted for the Booker Prize.

Born in England in 1969, he majored in English and American literature and comparative literature at the University of Kent. He taught English to engineering students in Hiroshima, Japan for 8 years.

Learning Haruki Murakami, Auster, Calvino, Borges master works, its own school, its mysterious, infinite spirit. The novel is full of originality and opens up a new mode and style for the 21st century English novels.

He is the author of eight novels, including Ghost Ghost, Dream No. 9, Cloud Map and Bone Clock, and has become a frequent guest of various literary awards and lists.
