About the author
American musician and poet. Over the course of half a century, Bob Dylan has released more than 40 albums, created songs that have been sung for generations, influenced musicians around the world, and brought lyrics into the Canon for the first time. He received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, an Academy Award for Best Original Song, a Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song, and a Pulitzer Prize for Special Honorary Mention. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 2016 for "pioneering new poetic expressions within the great American song tradition."
