The year 2023 marks the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative. In the past decade, the Belt and Road Initiative has generated nearly one trillion US dollars of investment, formed more than 3,000 cooperation projects, created more than 420,000 jobs for relevant countries, and lifted nearly 40 million people out of poverty. The Belt and Road Initiative has made remarkable achievements in promoting connectivity and cooperative development between China and co-developing countries, and has become a well-received global public good and international cooperation platform.

Compared with a decade ago, the global environment has changed profoundly. The worst COVID-19 pandemic in a century has had a huge impact on the world.
