Born in Bonn, Germany, in 1964, he became interested in nature conservation at a young age. Currently manages an environmentally friendly forest area in the Eifel region of Germany. He often carries out popular science activities on forest and nature conservation, and insists on writing, and his works have been published in many countries and regions. His works include The Secret Life of Trees and Nature's Social Network.
