《命若飘蓬》是法国当代旅行作家和小说家的代表性短篇小说集，由伽利玛出版社首次出版于二〇〇九年，荣获当年的龚古尔文学奖短篇小说奖。这本短篇集收录了《沥青》《小雕像》《湖泊》《峡谷》《海湾》等十五篇精彩的小说。这十五个故事发生在世界的多个地方，在西伯利亚的平原、苏格兰的峡谷、爱琴海的海湾、格鲁吉亚的群山……这十五个主人公都怀揣着欲望或希望，然而命运的法则和自然的力量更强大，主人公往往在经历一番曲折的变故后，最后归于对命运的无奈和嗟叹，或重新回到最初的平静。
作者简介
西尔万•泰松 （1972—），法国作家、记者、旅行家，还是欧洲探险行会的会长。泰松大学时读的是地理专业，十九岁骑摩托车穿越冰岛中部，并参加了婆罗洲洞穴探险。二十岁出头，与好友亚历山大•普桑一起骑自行车环游世界。新世纪的头两年，他参加了在巴基斯坦和阿富汗的考古考察。之后，他从俄罗斯的西伯利亚穿行到中国西藏，在那里遇到了法国女探险家普里西拉•特尔蒙，两人徒步翻越喜马拉雅山，步行到印度的加尔各答。二〇〇九年他出版了短篇小说集《命若飘蓬》，荣获龚古尔文学奖短篇小说奖。二〇一一年出版《在西伯利亚森林中》，获美第奇文学奖，其中文版荣获傅雷翻译出版奖。西尔万•泰松至今已出版十余部游记，其多部随笔和影集也广受好评。
It is a representative collection of short stories of contemporary French travel writers and novelists. It was first published by Galima in 2009 and won the Prix Goncourt for short Stories of that year. This short collection contains fifteen wonderful stories such as "Asphalt", "Figurines", "Lakes", "Canyons" and "Coves". These 15 stories take place in many parts of the world, in the plains of Siberia, the canyons of Scotland, the bays of the Aegean Sea, the mountains of Georgia... These fifteen protagonists are full of desire or hope, but the law of fate and the power of nature are more powerful, the protagonists often go through twists and turns, and finally return to the fate of helplessness and lamentation, or return to the initial calm.
About the author
Sylvain Tesson (1972 -) was a French writer, journalist, traveler, and president of the European Adventure Guild. He studied geography at university and, at 19, cycled through central Iceland and took part in a Borneo caving expedition. In her early twenties, she cycled around the world with her friend Alexander Poussin. In the first two years of the new century, he took part in archaeological expeditions in Pakistan and Afghanistan. He then traveled from Russia's Siberia to China's Tibet, where he met Priscilla Telmon, a French explorer, and the two trekked across the Himalayas to Calcutta, India. In 2009, he published a collection of short stories entitled "The Life of the Pippin", which won the Prix Goncourt for Short Stories. In 2011, he published "In the Siberian Forest", which won the Medici Literature Prize, and the Chinese version won the Fu Lei Translation and Publication Award. Sylvain Tesson has published more than a dozen travel books, and many of his essays and books have been critically acclaimed.
