Content introduction
The three objects on the side of the road constitute "brothers and sisters", silently spending spring, summer, autumn and winter together; The corridor is like a silent bystander, witnessing the daily life of three neighbors with different personalities; A few daily necessities on the bathroom table seem to be "chatting gossip" between each other... . These funny images are the work of Richard McGuire, who has been working on a series of vignettes for The New Yorker since 2005. These wordless continuous images, once the supporting characters of magazines, are now the main characters in the book. They are like silent films, with a bustle of farce and a bustle of silence.
