Author, independent scholar, technology philosopher and senior fellow at interdisciplinary think tanks, BBC columnist, international commentator and TED Global speaker. He holds a PhD from St John's College, Oxford, and was a visiting associate professor at the Oxford Internet School and taught Strategic Leadership at Said Business School.

He is a researcher at the National Space Science Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and has a PhD in management. He has been engaged in innovation and strategy research for a long time, and has rich practical experience in innovation management and leadership. He has presided over a number of important research topics, published more than 30 high-level SCI and core journal academic papers, and his translated works have won many honors such as "National Excellent Popular Science Works" and "Excellent Popular Science Books of the Chinese Academy of Sciences".
