[Canada] Rosemarie Sullivan

In 2012, Sullivan was awarded the Order of Canada for his contributions to Canadian culture. His books include The Shadow Maker: Gwendolyn McEwan, winner of the Governor-General's Academic Award, The Labyrinth of Desire: A Woman's Passion and Obsession with Romance, and The Mind: A Biography of Elizabeth Smart. Her latest book, The Betrayal of Anne Frank: A Cold Case Investigation, has been published in several countries.

Translator's introduction

Chen Xiaowei Professor, School of Foreign Languages, Fuzhou University. He is also a member of the Council and expert of the Translators Association of China, a member of the Expert Committee of the National Steering Committee for Graduate Education of Translation Majors, and vice President of the Fujian Translators Association. He has published a total of 14 translations, including "The Handmaid's Tale", "Shanghai Orphan", "Blue Virtual Space", "The Letters of Isaiah Berlin", as well as "Impression of Fujian", "Gulangyu" and "Fujian See Happiness" (all three are bilingual in Chinese and English). Has completed various translation tasks millions of words. In 2024, he was awarded the honorary title of "Senior Translator" by Translators Association of China.
