Learn to Ask Questions (the 12th edition of the original book)

If the subway in your city upgraded its security procedures for safety reasons, would you actively cooperate or passively resist? If a star or KOL you like enthusiastically recommends a product to you, do you order it immediately or do you think it through? If your boss asked and encouraged you to "996" or even "007", would you cooperate or refuse? ...

We live in a noisy, noisy and uncertain world, surrounded by a plethora of information all the time, from the trends of world economic development to the small decisions of personal life, in the face of opinions sold by others and the media, if you lack independent thinking and judgment, you can only accept it as a whole - they are keen to make you believe that it is "the truth", but what they say is often true and false. You clearly think something is wrong, but you can't find a breakthrough to refute it.

Even if the experts say no matter how beautiful, it is not necessarily reliable, we need to rely on their own brains, not hasty, not blindly, not emotional and unfounded rumors. This book will help us to consciously learn and use critical thinking, to ask critical questions, to think carefully about issues, to try to understand the analytical reasoning of those whose values are contrary to our own, and to overcome the influence of bias on judgment, so that we can reach more correct and rational conclusions.

When you can calmly face opinions that are completely different from your position, make rational judgments without being partisan, when you face questions and doubts, and have the ability to organize more solid evidence to support your own views, rather than just taking the voice as reasonable, or thinking that others are not looking for problems, intentionally making trouble with yourself, when you can clear the fog in dialogue and debate, When you recognize the other person's logical fallacies and emotional manipulation, the world becomes more interesting, open, and determined in your eyes.
