作者简介
吉姆·阿尔-哈利利（JimAl-Khalili），核物理专家，量子生物学家，科普人，英国皇家学会“法拉第”奖、英国物理学会“开尔文”奖、“斯蒂芬·霍金科学传播奖”得主。英国苏里大学理论物理学杰出讲席教授、“科学公众参与”讲席教授。参与多部BBC的物理科普影视。另有广播节目。除写作了大量一般性物理科普书籍外，还有阿拉伯科学史方面的著作。

About the author
JimAl-Khalili, nuclear physicist, quantum biologist, science populariser, winner of the Royal Society Faraday Prize, the British Physical Society Kelvin Prize, and the Stephen Hawking Prize for Science Communication. Distinguished Chair Professor of Theoretical Physics and "Public Engagement in Science", University of Surrey, UK. He has worked on a number of BBC physics science films. There is also a radio program. In addition to writing a large number of general physics popular science books, there are also works on the history of Arab science.
Translator's introduction
Huang Jialei, a native of Hangzhou, holds a master of Arts in Classical Chinese from Humboldt University in Berlin, Germany. He is currently engaged in the sports and tourism industry, and is engaged in translation work in his spare time.
