How does a Chief Rise to Power

Timothy Earle is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, former president of the Archaeological Branch of the American Anthropological Society, professor of archaeology at Northwestern University and the University of California, Los Angeles. Under the guidance of Kent Flannery (Kent Flannery), Eric Wolf (Eric Wolf) and Marshall Sahlins (Marshall Sahlins) and many other famous anthropologists, archaeologists, is the successor of the new evolution and the representative figure of chiefdom research in the field of foreign archaeology. His books include "How Chiefs Came to Power" and "Bronze Age Economics."
