《梁启超》内容简介

　　许知远“梁启超五卷本”第二卷，讲述走向世界的梁启超。1898年戊戌变法失败后，梁启超被迫流亡日本，却意外踏上全球化的时代浪潮，在广阔的世界舞台上迸发出强劲的生命力。这一时期的梁启超以日本横滨为基地，先后创办《清议报》《新民丛报》《新小说》等杂志，促发了中文世界新知识与新思想的生产与传播，影响巨大且深远；同时他游历夏威夷、澳大利亚、北美等地，呼应海外华人广泛觉醒的政治意识，建立保皇会的全球网络。

　　毕业于北京大学计算机系，曾任剑桥大学与加州大学伯克利分校访问学者。

　　自2001年起，他已经在大陆、香港、台湾出版了近20本书籍，主要作品包括《祖国的陌生人》、《游荡集》、《那些忧伤的年轻人》等。作品也被翻译成英、法、韩等多种版本。他正在撰写五卷本梁启超传记，其中《梁启超：青年变革者1873-1898》已出版，《梁启超：亡命（1898-1903）》即将出版。

　　许知远曾参与创办出版多种报刊杂志，包括《经济观察报》、《彭博商业周刊中文版》、《单读》等。

　　他参与主创并担任主持人的深度思想访谈纪录片《十三邀》（1-7季），激起了社会广泛回响。

Brief introduction of Liang Qichao

The second volume of "Liang Qichao Five Volumes" by Xu Zhiyuan tells about Liang Qichao who went to the world. After the failure of the Hundred Days' Reform in 1898, Liang Qichao was forced into exile in Japan, but he unexpectedly stepped on the tide of globalization and burst out a strong vitality on the vast world stage. During this period, Liang Qichao, based in Yokohama, Japan, successively founded magazines such as Qingyi Newspaper, Xinmin Cong Newspaper and New Novel, which promoted the production and dissemination of new knowledge and ideas in the Chinese world, and had a huge and far-reaching influence. At the same time, he traveled to Hawaii, Australia, North America and other places, echoing the widespread awakening of political awareness among overseas Chinese, and establishing a global network of Royalists.

The book restores historical scenes in a great deal of detail, creating an image of a political exile with a rich emotional dimension; With Liang Qichao as the center, it drew out reformist colleagues such as Yan Fu, revolutionary Party members such as Sun Yat-sen, political figures such as Li Hongzhang, Shigobu Okuma, and Theodore Roosevelt, as well as overseas Chinese scattered around the world such as Yip En in Vancouver, Qiu Shuyuan in Singapore, and Mei Guangda in Sydney. Their passion and struggle have created a global picture of the 19th and 20th centuries.

Liang Qichao, who was established at the age of 30, viewed China's predicament with world experience. He gradually separated from Kang Youwei, gained intellectual independence, and reached a critical moment of ideological maturity. From "reform" to "new people", Liang Qichao once again promoted "change".

About the author

Writer, founder of One Way Space, creator of the talk show Thirteen Invites.

He graduated from the Department of Computer Science at Peking University and was a visiting scholar at the University of Cambridge and the University of California, Berkeley.

His works have also been translated into English, French and Korean. He is working on a five-volume biography of Liang Qichao, of which "Liang Qichao: Young Change-maker 1873-1898" has been published and "Liang Qichao: Fugitive (1898-1903)" will be published soon.

Xu Zhiyuan has participated in the founding and publishing of various newspapers and magazines, including the Economic Observer, Bloomberg Business Week Chinese Edition, and Single Reading.

He participated in the creation and host of the in-depth ideological interview documentary "Thirteen Invitations" (1-7 seasons), which aroused widespread social reverberations.
