《周制与秦制》内容简介

　　本书为冯天瑜先生遗作，综合了冯先生对中国古代传统文化、传统制度和历史研究的心得。本书题作“周制与秦制”，并不是狭义上“周代的制度”“秦代的制度”，而是指自周代至晚清，历时三千年的周制文化、历时两千年的秦制文化，虽有多种变态、解构，但一直没有缺位于波澜起伏的中国制度历程。在中国制度文化进程中，“周制—秦制”是中国制度文化的一对基本范畴，切近历史枢要。关于选择周制或是秦制，历代朝廷和士大夫都曾争论不休，在秦初、汉初、唐代、明清之际，论战尤其激烈。几千年来的政制实践中，呈现出二制起伏的现象，周制与秦制不断转变，代有轮替。不过，历代帝王术的基旨中，则是霸、王道杂用，儒表法里，阳儒阴法。该书对周制和秦制这两大制度文化遗产的优劣做了简要评述，主张摒弃周制和秦制的负面内容，鉴取其优秀可取之处，同时吸收外来制度文化的可取之处，为中国现代文化建设服务。本书对中国传统制度文化的梳理，对我们今天继承和发扬中国优秀传统文化，实践“两个结合”指导下的新时代中国特色社会主义理论建设大有裨益。

　　冯天瑜，湖北红安人，武汉大学资深教授、教育部社会科学委员会委员、湖北省中国史学会会长、湖北省地方志副总纂、“荆楚文库”总编（之一）、武汉大学中国传统文化研究中心主任和台湾研究所所长。主要从事中国文化史、明清思想史、地域文化史研究，创建了新时期中国文化史的研究范式和叙述框架，是半个世纪以来中国文化史学科的主要领军人物之一，其中国文化生态论、中国文化特质论、元典精神论、新民本论、历史文化语义学等学说影响深远。独著和合著有《明清文化史散论》《张之洞评传》《中华元典精神》《“千岁丸”上海行》《新语探源》《中国文化生成史》《“封建”考论》《中华文化史》《中国古文化的奥秘》《解构专制》《晚清经世实学》《辛亥武昌首义史》等，结集为《冯天瑜文存》20卷。

Introduction to the content of Zhou System and Qin System

This book is the posthumous work of Mr. Feng Tianyu, which synthesizes his experience in the study of ancient Chinese traditional culture, traditional institutions and history. The title of this book is "Zhou System and Qin System", not in the narrow sense of "Zhou system" and "Qin system", but refers to the Zhou system culture, which lasted three thousand years from the Zhou Dynasty to the late Qing Dynasty, and the Qin system culture, which lasted two thousand years, although there are many kinds of abnormal and deconstructed, but has always been in the ups and downs of the Chinese system process. In the process of Chinese system culture, "Zhou system - Qin system" is a pair of basic categories of Chinese system culture, close to the historical key. As to whether to choose the Zhou system or the Qin system, the imperial court and the scholar-officials had a lot of arguments, especially in the early Qin, early Han, Tang, Ming and Qing dynasties. In the practice of political system for thousands of years, the phenomenon of two systems fluctuated, the Zhou system and the Qin system changed constantly, and the generations replaced each other. However, in the imperial art of the past dynasties, the basic purpose is the use of bullies and Kings, the Confucian surface law, and the Yang Confucian Yin law. The book makes a brief comment on the merits and demerits of the Zhou system and the Qin system, advocating that the negative contents of the Zhou system and the Qin system should be abandoned, and the merits of the Zhou system and the Qin system should be learned, and the merits of the foreign system culture should be absorbed to serve the construction of modern Chinese culture. This book is of great benefit to us today to inherit and carry forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture and practice the theoretical construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era under the guidance of "the combination of two".

About the author

Feng Tianyu, a native of Hong 'an, Hubei Province, is a senior professor of Wuhan University, a member of the Social Science Committee of the Ministry of Education, President of the Hubei Chinese History Society, Deputy General Editor of Hubei Provincial Local Chronicles, one of the chief editors of Jingchu Library, Director of the Research Center for Chinese Traditional Culture and director of the Taiwan Research Institute of Wuhan University. He is mainly engaged in the research of Chinese cultural history, ideological history of Ming and Qing Dynasties, and regional cultural history, and has created the research paradigm and narrative framework of Chinese cultural history in the new era. He is one of the main leaders in the discipline of Chinese cultural history in the past half century, and his theories of Chinese cultural ecology, Chinese cultural characteristics, Yuandian spirit theory, Xinmin theory, historical and cultural semantics have far-reaching influence.
