早在“双减”政策出台之前，新教育实验发起人朱永新就在思考为天下父母写一本书，缓解他们的教育焦虑，从需求端给孩子减负，让孩子过上“幸福完整的教育生活”。

2021年夏天，中共中央办公厅、国务院办公厅印发《关于进一步减轻义务教育阶段学生作业负担和校外培训负担的意见》，把“双减”旗帜鲜明地写到了文件的标题中。

在这样的背景下，朱永新教授将他对减法教育的思考写出来、分享出来，与天下父母乃至于教育职业共同体成员分享、讨论、理解减法教育的意义，缓解教育焦虑，也能够让大家站在更高的立场上理解“双减”，理解教育改革与创新的必要性。

本书是研讨“双减”背景之下家庭、学校、社会为何减、怎么减的系列思考，共分为三辑十一章。

第一辑主要是从认识论的角度，与父母谈减法教育，减法教育的前提是幸福生活，要把教育的减法与生命的意义结合起来思考。

第二辑主要是从方法论的角度，谈减法教育的落地，谈学制的减法、内容的减法、文凭的减法、观念的减法。

第三辑主要是从主体论的角度，谈父母的减法、学校的减法、社会的减法。

苏州大学教授、博士生导师，新教育实验发起人，中国陶行知研究会会长，国际儿童读物联盟首届IBBY-iRead爱阅人物奖获得者。

出版16卷本“朱永新教育作品”、《致教师》和《未来学校》等。作品版权输出美国、法国、德国、西班牙、俄罗斯、韩国、日本等，被译为28种语言。被评为“中国十大教育英才”、改革开放30年“中国教育风云人物”、中国教育60年60人、“为了公共利益”年度人物等。获得2022年“一丹教育发展奖”。

Content introduction

Long before the introduction of the "double reduction" policy, Zhu Yongxin, the initiator of the new education experiment, was thinking about writing a book for parents all over the world to alleviate their education anxiety, reduce the burden on children from the demand side, and let children live a "happy and complete education life".

In the summer of 2021, the General Office of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and The General Office of the State Council issued the Opinions on Further Reducing the Burden of Homework and Off-campus Training for Students in the Compulsory Education Stage, which clearly wrote the "double reduction" in the title of the document.

In this context, Professor Zhu Yongxin wrote and shared his thoughts on subtraction education, shared, discussed and understood the significance of subtraction education with parents all over the world and even members of the education professional community, alleviated educational anxiety, and enabled everyone to understand the "double reduction" from a higher position and understand the necessity of education reform and innovation.

This book is a series of reflections on why and how to reduce the family, school and society under the background of "double reduction", which is divided into three chapters and eleven chapters.

The first part mainly discusses subtraction education with parents from the perspective of epistemology, the premise of subtraction education is a happy life, and the subtraction of education should be combined with the meaning of life.

The second part is mainly from the perspective of methodology, talking about the landing of subtraction education, talking about the subtraction of academic system, content, diploma and concept.

The third chapter mainly discusses the subtraction of parents, schools and society from the perspective of subject theory.

About the author

Professor and doctoral supervisor of Soochow University, initiator of new education experiment, President of China Tao Xingzhi Research Association, winner of the first IBBY-iRead Love Reader Award of the International Children's Book Alliance.

Published 16 volumes of "Zhu Yongxin's Educational Works", "To Teachers" and "Future School". The copyright of the works is exported to the United States, France, Germany, Spain, Russia, Korea, Japan, etc., and has been translated into 28 languages. He was named "China's Top Ten Educational Talents", "China's Education Figures of the past 30 years of reform and opening up", "60 people of the past 60 years of Chinese education", and "for the Public Interest" person of the year.
