　　保罗·乌里奥(PaoloVrio)，瑞士日内瓦大学政治经济学教授，欧洲知名公共管理专家，欧中管理促进基金会主席，在中国浦东干部学院等多家中国院校担任兼职教授。他着重研究中国改革进程和中国外交政策，对中国有客观深入的了解，组织并主持了“中瑞合作管理培训项目”多项中瑞政府间合作项目，积极推动中瑞交流与合作。

This book systematically explains how the United States forced liberal democracy and other ideas to the world and showed various superiority. After its establishment, the United States expanded for hundreds of years and became the world's number one power. This book is a profoundly rational and systematic assessment of how the United States has penetrated the world hegemony. The United States is extremely superstitious about its own "superiority" and "progress," domineering to its enemies and Allies, constantly selling "universal values" to the world, refurbishing various versions of the "American story," and propagating various myths.

After the collapse of the Soviet Union, the United States believed that it was standing at the peak of history, would rule the world under the banner of neoliberalism, build new international rules based on its ideology and interest pattern, and contain China with new strategies and new stories, predicting that the "end of history" had come. This book is an in-depth analysis of the myths and misconceptions about China in the United States, and traces the history of the development of Sino-American ideology over the centuries. Research in this book shows that the United States has difficulty adapting to changes in the international system, and that Chinese culture is extremely inclusive, able to integrate Western ideas and Confucian values to form a new ideology, which is more resilient.

Under the unprecedented changes in a century, the hegemony of the United States did not push countries with different systems and value systems to the "end of history", on the contrary, the forces against the hegemony rose. The West's imperial history of world domination is coming to an end. About the author

Paul Urio (PaoloVrio) is a professor of political economy at the University of Geneva, Switzerland, a well-known European expert on public administration, president of the EU-China Management Promotion Foundation, and an adjunct professor at China Executive Leadership Academy Pudong and other Chinese universities. He has focused on studying China's reform process and foreign policy and has an objective and in-depth understanding of China. He has organized and presided over a number of inter-governmental cooperation projects under the "Sino-Swiss Cooperation Management Training Program" and actively promoted exchanges and cooperation between China and Switzerland.
