黛安•科伊尔（Diane Coyle），哈佛大学经济学博士，剑桥大学公共政策教授，曾任曼彻斯特大学经济学教授。大英帝国勋章获得者，与保罗•克鲁格曼等人一起入围2015年英国《展望》（Prospect）评选的“世界思想家50人”。著有《高尚的经济学：经济学为什么如此重要，经济学家究竟在做些什么》（The Soulful Science:What Economists Really Do and Why It Matters）、《极简GDP史》（GDP:A Brief but Affectionate History）、《市场、国家和民众：公共政策经济学》（Markets,State,and People:Economics for Public Policy）等。

About the author
Diane Coyle is a PhD in economics at Harvard University, professor of public policy at Cambridge University and former Professor of Economics at the University of Manchester. He is a member of the Order of the British Empire, along with Paul Krugman and others, shortlisted in Prospect's "50 World Thinkers" in 2015. He is the author of Noble Economics: Why is economics so important, "The Soulful Science:What Economists Really Do and Why It Matters," and "GDP:A Brief but Affectionate "Markets,State,and People:Economics for Public Policy."
