Albert Camus, a famous French novelist, essayist, playwright, critic and critic, is a literary master and a representative figure of "absurd philosophy". His main works include the play "Misunderstanding" and "Caligula", the novella "Outsider", the novel "Plague", the philosophical treatise "The Myth of Sisyphus" and so on. Camus won the French Prize for Criticism and the 1957 Nobel Prize for Literature, making him one of the youngest writers to win the Nobel Prize. He was regarded as an existentialist alongside Sartre until the 1950s, which he repeatedly denied. In 1951, he published his philosophical treatise "The Rebel", which caused a controversy with Sartre and others for more than a year, and finally broke with Sartre. Thus, the critics come to the conclusion that Camus is the representative figure of absurd philosophy and its literature.
