《结构之后的路》体现了库恩晚年思想的发展，是对《科学革命的结构》观点的拓展与反思，并对于对他理论的一些批评和误读，作出了回应。
如果说《科学革命的结构》一书重在建构一个“范式”，《结构之后的路》则对《科学革命的结构》中被质疑较多的地方进行了针对性的阐述，尤其是对于“不可通约性”。书末还收录库恩去世前一年所进行的深度访谈，是库恩学术生平的极好自传式材料。
作者简介
托马斯·库恩（Thomas S.Kuhn，1922—1996），美国物理学家、科学哲学家、科学史家，被誉为“二战后最具影响力的一位以英文写作的哲学家”（理查德·罗蒂语）。于1949年获物理学博士，后执教于加州大学、麻省理工学院等，任麻省理工学院语言学哲学劳伦斯·洛克菲勒名誉教授（the Laurence Rockefeller Professor Emeritus of linguistics and philosophy at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology）。主要著作有还有《科学革命的结构》《哥白尼革命：西方思想发展中的行星天文学》《必要的张力》《黑体理论和量子的不连续性》等。
邱慧，1975年7月出生于浙江舟山，博士，中国科学院研究生院人文学院副教授。有译著《知识与权力——走向科学的政治研究》和《结构之后的路》等。

About the author
Thomas S.Kuhn (1922-1996) was an American physicist, philosopher of science, and historian of science, who has been described as "the most influential philosopher to write in English since World War II" (Richard Rorty). He received his Ph.D. in physics in 1949, and later taught at the University of California, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, etc. the Laurence Rockefeller Professor Emeritus of linguistics and philosophy at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Institute of Technology). His books include The Structure of Scientific Revolutions, The Copernican Revolution: Planetary Astronomy in the Development of Western Thought, The Necessary Tension, Blackbody Theory and Quantum Discontinuity.
Qiu Hui, born in Zhoushan, Zhejiang Province in July 1975, is an associate professor at the School of Humanities, Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Sciences. He has translated "Knowledge and Power: Political Research towards Science" and "The Way After Structure".
