The Chronicles of Narnia is a series of seven fantasy stories written by British author C. S. Lewis between 1950 and 1956, including The Sorcerer's Nephew, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, The Horse and the Boy, Prince Caspian, The Dawn Treader, The Silver Chair, and The Last Battle. In order to highlight the characteristics of the society and let young readers understand the complex relationships between the characters, each book has added a detailed introduction to the characters, and the names and places are as consistent as possible with the translation of the film. The Chronicles of Narnia is a series of children's novels with a moving plot and a funny story. Other works include The Allegory of Love: A Study in Medieval Traditions and the space trilogy The Silent Planet, The Star of Pirrandra and The Dark Armageddon.
