作者简介
许斌博士，中欧国际工商学院经济学和金融学教授、吴敬琏经济学教席教授、副教务长。着重研究全球经济和中国经济、跨国企业在中国的战略，以及新兴市场的贸易和金融问题，著有《国际贸易》一书。目前担任《国际贸易和经济发展期刊》编委，曾任亚太国际贸易研究会理事。
许斌博士在中欧国际工商学院讲授宏观经济学、中国经济和国际金融课程。常受邀为跨国公司和国内企业的高管作关于全球经济和中国经济的演讲。

This book is written for the general audience and uses a "hands-on" approach to teach readers how to use macroeconomics, including where to look for macroeconomic data, what data to look for, and how to interpret it. Macroeconomic theory is presented succinctly, but without losing depth and wholeness, with an emphasis on how to apply it; The book discusses in detail the methods used to identify macroeconomic trends and macroeconomic inflection points, and gives readers an immersive experience of applying these methods through the review of real cases.

About the author
Dr. Bin Xu is Professor of Economics and Finance and Wu Jinglian Chair Professor of Economics and Vice Provost of China Europe International Business School. His research focuses on the global economy and the Chinese economy, the strategies of multinational corporations in China, and trade and finance issues in emerging markets. He is currently on the editorial board of the Journal of International Trade and Economic Development, and was a member of the Asia-Pacific Council of International Trade.
Dr. Bin Xu teaches macroeconomics, Chinese economy and international finance at China Europe International Business School. He is often invited to give speeches on the global economy and the Chinese economy to executives of multinational companies and domestic enterprises.
