作者简介
约恩·福瑟（1959—），挪威当代作家，2023年诺贝尔文学奖得主，其创作体裁包括小说、戏剧、诗歌、随笔等。1983年，他的处女作小说《红，黑》出版。他的剧本《有人将至》出版于1996年，在欧洲演出后引发巨大关注，此后福瑟逐渐以剧作家的身份蜚声世界。2010年获国际易卜生奖。诺贝尔文学奖授奖词称，福瑟的创新性的戏剧和散文体作品“言说了那些不可言说之物”。
The novel begins when Asler and Alida, a young couple, leave their hometown for Bjorgvin (Bergen) : Alida is pregnant, but they have trouble finding a place to live and are forced to drift through the cold autumn rain. Later, they found a place to live and had a son, Sigwal Jr. On Asler's day out, people from his hometown recognize him and point out his past crimes...
Years later, Alida's daughter Alice also grew old. She saw her dead mother again and remembered her half-brother Sigwal. The life experiences of the descendants and grandparents overlap in the fate that is difficult to break away from.
Foser not only constructed an allegory about love, resistance and redemption, but also made a highly symbolic depiction and very profound reflection on the living situation of modern people.
About the author
Joern Foser (1959 -) is a Norwegian contemporary writer, winner of the 2023 Nobel Prize in Literature, whose works include novels, plays, poems, essays and other genres. In 1983, his first novel, Red, Black, was published. His play Someone Is Coming, published in 1996, attracted great attention after a European performance, and Fosser gradually became known around the world as a playwright. He received the International Ibsen Award in 2010. The Nobel Literature Prize citation said Foser's innovative dramatic and prose work "says the unsayable".
