约翰·肯尼迪·图尔（John Kennedy Toole，1937—1969）

Ignatius Reilly is a learned and lazy college graduate who sits idle at home after graduation and daydreams about writing a great work. Due to his mother's accidental car accident, his situation took a turn for the worse and he was forced to become a migrant worker. During the work, he met a group of people from the bottom of the society, so he tried to organize and lead them to strike, and help them fight for their rights and interests, although these behaviors in the surrounding people seem ridiculous, but he still did not give up, but in the laughter to continue his career, and this led to a series of ironic stories.
The work was not well received by the press during Tour's lifetime. After Tour's death, his mother's tireless efforts led to the publication of the novel in 1980, which became a sensation and won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction in 1981.
John Kennedy Toole (1937-1969)
American novelist born in New Orleans, Louisiana, graduated from Tulane University and received a master's degree in English from Columbia University. He has taught at various colleges and universities. At the age of 16, Tour completed his first work, The Neon Bible, showing his talent for writing. He joined the army in 1961, where he wrote his novel A Union of Fools.
