Richard Wilkinson, emeritus Professor of Social Epidemiology at The University of Nottingham, Emeritus Professor of Public Health and Epidemiology at University College London and Visiting Professor at the University of York, founded The Equality Trust in 2009. His research on the influence of social factors on human health is remarkable.
Kate Pickett is professor of epidemiology at the Department of Health Sciences at the University of York and co-founder of the Equality Trust. He has studied physical anthropology at the University of Cambridge, nutritional science at Cornell University, and epidemiology at the University of California, Berkeley.
