道尾秀介，1975年生于日本东京。曾经的天才新人，如今的日本推理界中坚力量，叙诡大师。2004年凭《背之眼》获恐怖悬疑大奖特别奖，由此出道。日本史上首位连续五届入围直木奖的作家，并最终凭《月与蟹》收获桂冠。另获山本周五郎奖、大薮春彦奖等重量级奖项无数。主要作品有《不可以》《向日葵不开的夏天》《所罗门之犬》等。

Hidesuke Michio was born in Tokyo, Japan in 1975. Once a talented newcomer, now the backbone of the Japanese reasoning community, the master of mystery. In 2004, he won a special Award for Horror and Mystery with The Eye of the Back. The first Japanese writer to be shortlisted for the Naoki Prize five times in a row, and finally won the prize with the Moon and the Crab. He also won numerous heavyweight awards such as the Yama Friday Lang Award and the Oyal Haruhiko Award. His main works are "Can not", "Sunflowers do not bloom Summer", "Solomon's Dogs" and so on.
