Introduction of works
As a kind of artificial space, burial is not only a display space for the evolution of skills such as architectural construction and artifact production, but also a stage for the competition of ideas such as family ethics and funeral rites and customs, and the result of social politics, economic development, technological evolution, and ideological and conceptual changes. With tombs and related issues as the research object, the book starts from the fields and takes tombs as the fulcrum, revealing the inheritance and changes of the burial system, social etiquette and customs, and ideological concepts, and endowing tomb archaeology in the Southern Song Dynasty with a more systematic academic value.
